The Mystic Gate is a doorway into your own inmost being. It can come in many forms: a chance encounter, a walk in the forest, a song, a cup of tea. A blissful moment, a moment of deep pain. Something opens up inside us that was always there, but not recognised.

This is an album of songs dedicated to the Hidden Peak Teahouse in Santa Cruz, California, and all proceeds from this album go towards supporting the Hidden Peak to keep its doors open. The Hidden Peak has been a mystic gate for so many, a way to commune with ourselves and others over a cup of tea. For those of us who have been so deeply touched, it is more than a business, it is a temple. This reminds us of the highest potential in all things, that even a cup of tea can bring us home to ourselves.
